The schedule below is a working draft; sessions may be added/removed or reassigned to different days and/or time slots. We will provide notification once the final schedule is published.
Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) is a different approach to science explorations. This presentation will introduce the concept of ADI and I will share some of the successes and challenges that I had implementing it in my classroom. An overview of the stages of ADI as well as materials and access to lessons will be provided. In an ADI lesson Students are provided with an Essential Question which leads them to design and implement their own labs. Different groups of students provide feedback to each other on lab design. After lab implementation and data collection student groups choose how to display their data and share with other student groups again.
