Whatever you teach, Science or Math, learning how to create several projects using the "mail-merge" feature of Word and Excel (or Google Docs and Sheets) that may allow you to save a lot of time could be a good idea: parent conferences reports, personalized students’ info sheets, vocabulary cards, and even a huge part of your lesson plans… any task that requires repetitive writing and that is based on tabulated data (that is, that can be completed using information you can store in an electronic worksheet) is easier when you know how to simplify the process with the tools you have in hand.
You may need to bring your own device with the complete working versions of Microsoft Word and Excel apps to practice at your own pace.
