This session will review supplemental aids and current TEA guidelines regarding accommodations for special education students. Participants will learn how to read TEA guideline criteria and the difference between what is allowable during classroom instruction versus state assessments and best practices for instructional use of supplemental aids. This is appropriate for science teachers of all grade levels, especially those who serve students receiving special education services. Presentation Notes
