Transform any topic or TEKS into an engaging, student-driven learning experience using easy-to-implement PBL strategies! Presented by EcoRise, this hands-on session will explore how problem-based learning and design thinking can be used to develop student innovation and 21st century skills, all while teaching and reinforcing essential academic content. Teachers will work in teams to create effective driving questions and walk through the PBL process from identifying the problem to sharing the solution. Through facilitated dialogue, teachers will be given the opportunity to share successes, challenges, and fears relating to PBL, and all participants will walk away with a comprehensive facilitators guide and dozens of ready-to-use PBL strategies and activities.
