Dell Funded! JASON Learning is providing award-winning, Free STEM programming to Austin, Bastrop, Del Valle, Georgetown, Hays Consolidated, Lago Vista, Leander, Pflugerville, and Round Rock ISDs. JASON is a (501)c3 organization dedicated to inspiring and educating students everywhere through real science and exploration. Founded by Dr. Robert Ballard after locating the RMS Titanic, JASON integrates the nation’s leading scientists into every curricular component, highlighting real-world phenomena and application, making STEM relevant and engaging for students. This session will introduce participants to the host of programming being offered, from digital resources, hands-on, inquiry labs, games, videos to live, STEM role model events, Dell-sponsored hackathons, and field opportunities. Through grade banded breakout sessions, participants will experience a sample of hands-on laboratory investigations and digital labs specifically aligned to the TEKS. Laptops recommended but not required. Preregistration required.
