Join us for a sampling of hands-on labs and digital resources from JASON Learning’s earth sciences curricula focused on weather, climate, and geology. Funded by Dell, JASON Learning is providing award-winning, Free STEM programming to Austin, Bastrop, Del Valle, Georgetown, Hays Consolidated, Lago Vista, Leander, Pflugerville, and Round Rock ISDs. Founded by Dr. Robert Ballard after locating the RMS Titanic, JASON Learning is a nonprofit organization that integrates the nation’s leading scientists and their work into every curricular component, highlighting real-world phenomena and application, making STEM relevant and engaging for students. This session will introduce participants to the host of programming being offered, from digital resources, hands-on, inquiry labs, games, videos to live, STEM role model events, Dell-sponsored hackathons, and field opportunities. Laptops recommended but not required.
