The schedule below is a working draft; sessions may be added/removed or reassigned to different days and/or time slots. We will provide notification once the final schedule is published.
This session will provide the participants a chance to discover and explore how Desmos can be incorporated and enrich a math lesson. It can be used in a variety of ways such as exploration of new content, review of skills and vocabulary, enrich understanding of previously taught skills, etc. Participants will be given the opportunity to work through some Desmos Activities and get assistance in building an activity for their classroom, or create lesson plans that incorporate these activities. There are lessons already created for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre Calculus and also some Geometry lessons. Participants should bring a laptop, or iPad. Please bring your own device.
