Re-imagine your campus as a laboratory for applied sustainability education! Explore how EcoRise curriculum, resources, and grant funds can be used to increase student engagement and cultivate eco-literacy and student innovation on your campus. Presented by EcoRise staff and veteran teachers, this full-day session will provide an overview of what our program offers and will allow you to explore and experience the resources that are most relevant to you. Check out our Sustainable Intelligence Curriculum, participate in a Design Thinking Workshop, and/or learn how to conduct an Eco-Audit of your campus and apply for funds to support green campus projects. Each breakout group will engage in hands-on activities and facilitated group dialogue, and will walk away with a plan of action tailored to meet your own instructional needs. EcoRise curriculum is aligned to the K-12 science TEKS, is available in English and Spanish, and spans seven eco-themes, including waste, water, and food.
